Steering Committee Convenes to Advance Preparations

As part of the preparations for IAC 2026, a meeting of the IAC 2026 Steering Committee was held under the chairmanship of the Minister of Industry and Technology, M. Fatih Kacır.

During the meeting, Yusuf Kıraç, President of the Turkish Space Agency, provided an overview of the International Astronautical Federation (IAF) and IAC 2026. Following this, Minister M. Fatih Kacır conveyed the expectations for this prestigious event to the Deputy Ministers representing all ministries, emphasizing the importance of collaboration among stakeholders.

Minister M. Fatih Kacır highlighted that “Antalya, Türkiye’s tourism capital and a renowned host for major international meetings, has officially commenced organizational activities with the goal of delivering the most successful and highly attended IAC ever held. Our objective is to host a prestigious event that will be a source of pride for our country.”
