The organizer of the International Astronautical Congress is the International Astronautical Federation. The 77th International Astronautical Congress will be hosted by the Turkish Space Agency and co-hosted by the SAHA Istanbul Defense and Aerospace Cluster.

3What is the theme of the 77th IAC?
Under the motto “The World Needs More Space”, the aim of IAC 2026 is to advocate for the sustainable and equitable exploration of space. As more countries and diverse stakeholders join the global space economy, it is essential to ensure that space remains an open frontier for all. The IAC 2026 will address pressing issues surrounding space security, exploration, and the ethical implications of our activities beyond Earth.
We aim to inspire a dialogue that transcends borders, encouraging innovative solutions that harness the benefits of space exploration while safeguarding it for future generations. 4How does the IAC 2026 endorse sustainability?
IAC 2026 involves partners and suppliers engaged in adopting sustainable measures and limiting their carbon footprint in their daily practice. The Congress will take place at NEST Convention Centre, a venue that ensure the protection of the biodiversity of indoor and outdoor spaces, maximize the circular economy (minimization of disposable products and waste management), use environmentally friendly materials and products, promote the sustainable mobility, control and reduce the pollutant emissions.
5How will the IAC 2026 reduce food waste?
IAC 2026 support the Food for Good project to recover surplus food and redistribute it to people and families in need.
6Can I access the scientific/plenary sessions or any service without my badge?
Please note that wearing your badge is mandatory at all times during the IAC to access the Congress facilities.

1Where will the Congress be held?
The IAC 2026 will be held in Antalya (Turkiye), at the NEST Convention Centre, where is in Belek, the best meeting and event destination with the best infrastructure.

2How do I reach the venue by public transportation?
Public transportation services within the city are comprehensively managed under the auspices of the Metropolitan Municipality. Predominantly, the public transportation network comprises buses and a rail system. Access to the city center from the airport is conveniently facilitated by buses or the rail system. Furthermore, the rail system extends its reach to the Expo area situated between the airport and the Belek district. To facilitate seamless connectivity, the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality will orchestrate shuttle services between the Expo area and the Nest Congress Center at predetermined intervals. By synergizing the rail system with these shuttle services, participants will be empowered to effortlessly access the city center. This option proves particularly advantageous for young participants seeking cost-effective lodgings in the city center.

3Is the venue accessible?
The NEST Convention Centre does not feature any architectural barrier. Thanks to the many elevators, escalators and ramps each guest has access to the exhibition spaces and meeting rooms without any impediment.
4Is any space reserved for prayer and meditation provided?
A prayer room will be available at the venue during the days of Congress.

1How can I register for the 77th International Astronautical Congress?

3When does the early bird registration end for the Congress?
Early bird registration will continue until June 5th.
4When will I receive registration confirmation?
Once you make the full payment, you will receive an e-mail confirming your registration.
5When should I make the full payment for my registration to be confirmed?
You need to make the full payment within 2 weeks of registration in order to have your participation at the Congress confirmed.
6When and where can I obtain my badge?
Once you make the full payment, you will receive confirmation e-mail. By the third week of September, you will receive a confirmation letter with a code. You are kindly asked to present this letter at the Congress venue to collect your badge. Please note that showing your ID/passport at the entrance is required to access premises at this stage.
7What are the payment methods for registration fee?
You can pay the registration fee either via bank transfer or by card. Details for bank transfer will be provided in the e-mail of payment order/registration overview we will send as soon as you create your profile here by providing all the required information.

Yes, it is possible to register for the Congress as a group. You need to fill in the file provided on the Registration page and send it to the e-mail address of registration@iac2026.org.

10I am a University Teacher/Professor, under which category should I register?
University Teachers/Professors cannot be considered under Primary and secondary level teachers fee, and you will need to register with delegate fee.

12When and where will the Public Day take place?
The IAC 2026 Public Day will take place on Friday, October 9th in the Main Hall from 10:30 to 14:00. Participants will be able to explore the exhibition area where they will find a variety of exhibitions and different activities.

2How can I apply for an e-visa?
- www.evisa.gov.tr is a government portal run by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Türkiye.
- e-Visa applications can be created for an individual, for a family (minimum of 2 and maximum of 10 people) or for a group (minimum of 10 and maximum of 300 people).
- e-Visa is valid for touristic and trade purposes only.
3How long will my e-visa be valid, and what is the duration of stay allowed in the territory of Turkiye?
Depending on your citizenship, please follow visa process in the Turkish embassy or E-visa platform.
4How can I obtain an invitation letter to apply for a visa?
An invitation letter to the Congress may be downloaded online from your registration account on this website. If a guarantee letter is needed to support your VISA application, Serenas Group (accommodation@iac2026.org) can assist you free of charge if you have a hotel reservation with them, while it will be chargeable for those who have booked through other channels. Please note that the VISA guarantee letter will only be available to participants who have paid their reservation registration fee. Presentation of the requested documentation does not guarantee that the visa will be issued.

The hosts promise an unforgettable and special gala event to the valuable participants of IAC 2026 in the unique atmosphere of Aspendos, one of the most important theaters in history; in Antalya, the apple of the eye of tourism. Gala dinner and special events before and during the event will offer a unique social program activity for the congress participants.

11Is there any deadline for the reservation of the Gala Dinner?
Gala Dinner reservation deadline is: 6 October 2026 at midnight (GMT+2) – subject to availability check.
12Can I cancel my reservation for the Gala Dinner?
Any request to cancel participation in the Dinner must be made by email and sent to the Congress Secretariat at the following address: registration@iac2026.org. The request must include all the necessary bank information for a possible refund. Refunds for cancelations received prior to September 4th 2026, will be made in the amount of 50% of ticket price within 60 days after Congress. No refunds will be made for the cancelation after September 4th 2026 or non-attendance at the Dinner.
